General: Chris completed his PhD at Manchester University in 2006, with his thesis topic being community engagement and governance in the Housing Market Renewal regeneration programme. Chris also has previous experience in working within both the private and public sectors.

He has thrown himself into life at BE Group and is working on a number of Employment Land Studies (including North Tyneside) as well as Haltwhistle Roadside Site Feasibility Study.

Hobbies:  Chris enjoys the outdoors life, rambling in the Lancashire hills and boating on Morecambe Bay. He is also a member of the North West RTPI Regional Activities Committee and is editor of the RTPI Regional Newsletter 'PLANNET'.
